|I am a constitutional lawyer and the mother two children. I am the daughter and granddaughter of veterans. I am pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-West Virginia energy. I am running to keep our children and grandchildren in West Virginia.
I am also pro-veteran and pro-police. I support our wonderful educators, first responders, and healthcare workers.
If elected, I pledge to you that every vote I cast will be for the betterment of Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, and Marshall Counties. I won't let Charleston forget us!
- We need to fix our failing roads and expand broadband internet.
- We need opportunity and jobs. We need economic development for the Northern Panhandle.
- We need to have school security so that our children are protected.
I have many ideas to move our state forward. Here are a few of my ideas:
1) Meaningful tax reform to stop the crushing inflation on our families and retired men and women.
2) Decisions about education need to be made on the local level between our elected county school boards, teachers, and families. However, the legislature can help with funding for smaller class sizes for our children and educators, expansion of vocational and technical courses for our children, installation of security systems that are directly tied to local law enforcement departments, and hiring and training veterans to protect our vulnerable children. Each school should have a dedicated mental health professional to help with issues of bullying, etc.
3) Local medical care in the Northern Panhandle for our Veterans, with less bureaucratic red tape.
4) Prescription savings for our Seniors. Healthcare costs are out of control.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
