Doof's dream-project-inator misfires and projects people's dreams for all to see.
Plot[]
On a windy evening, Candace is terrified by what she thinks are creepy shadows and scarecrows. She discovers they are just Phineas and the gang's latest invention: scarecrow mech suits. They run off to have a scarecrow race, leaving a frustrated Candace behind. Candace calls her mother, and drives her to where the gang ran off to, but finds the scarecrow mech suits had blown into the wind.
Meanwhile, Perry the Platypus is called into action by Major Monogram. He's tasked with checking on Doofenshmirtz, who has surprisingly slept through his day for evil. When Perry arrives at Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated, he's zapped by Doof's "Make-Bigger-inator," which makes him a giant and sends him on a rampage through Danville. The ordeal turns out to be a simulation created by the Dream-Project-inator, a device that projects a person's dreams onto a screen. Doof's goal is to make people's dreams more entertaining.
Perry and Doofenshmirtz struggle over the remote, causing the inator to fire random beams throughout the Tri-State Area. The beams hit several people, including:
Vanessa Doofenshmirtz: She dreams of being terrorized by a horde of zombie Ducky Momos and sings a dramatic musical number about how she's their "worst nightmare."
Buford and Baljeet: They're zapped while playing chess. In their dream, Baljeet transforms into a floating brain that tries to create a "mind-brain utopia." The gang, now turned into brains themselves, chases Buford, who resists the transformation.
Candace: She dreams she is a warrior riding a human-mouthed horse on a quest to bust her brothers. She tries to call her mom, who appears as a giant, multi-eyed creature, before the Mysterious Force, personified as a giant cloud creature and the earth, swallows everything.
Ferb: His dream is a brief, surreal, Dali-esque sequence involving Vanessa's clothes.
Isabella: In her dream, she is terrorized by sentient, evil cupcakes after sneaking a snack from a box intended for a Fireside Girls sale.
Linda Flynn-Fletcher: She experiences a Psycho-style dream where Candace replaces the famous shower-stabbing scene with an incessant repetition of "Mom? Mom? Mom?"
Doofenshmirtz: After receiving a parking ticket, Doof uses giant dinosaur alien robots to remake the Tri-State Area in his image.
A lightning bolt strikes the lab, causing the inator to go haywire. The device begins pulling the dream creatures—including Giant Perry, zombie Ducky Momos, and the floating brains—into the real world. A short musical number, "Dreamscape Drama," highlights the chaos. The real Perry is dragged into the screen by his giant dream-self.
Suddenly, the screen ripples, revealing that the entire sequence was part of Doof's dream. Perry is standing next to the sleeping Doofenshmirtz, having destroyed the inator to prevent the dream creatures from becoming a reality. He throws a blanket over Doofenshmirtz and leaves, but is startled by a final jumpscare from a zombie Ducky Momo, suggesting some of the dream effects might still linger.
