"Divide and Conquer " is the forty-second episode of the Disney Jr. animated series, The Lion Guard January 11 , 2018 and is the sixteenth episode in the second season.
Plot [ ] Janja 's Clan are chasing Twiga and Juhudi. The Lion Guard appear to stop them. Suddenly, Ono spots Reirei's Pack going after pangolins. The Guard splits up to stop both Outlander herds. Both groups outnumber them but the giraffes and pangolins save themselves. When Ono spots both Outlanders heading back into the Outlands together, Kion realizes that both groups are working together and enlist Tamaa's help.
Meanwhile in the Outlands, Janja and Reirei tell Scar that his divide and conquer strategy is working. Scar tells them that they will use it so Reirei can distract the Lion Guard while Janja takes out Rafiki. Scar explains that doesn't want anybody to know he's back yet and Rafiki can sense him. This is because he can sense the Lions of the Past.
The Outlanders excute the plan. However, thanks to Tamaa, the tables are soon turned forcing Scar to intervine long enough to get seen by Kion. The Guard defeats both group. Rafiki also finds the Mark of Scar, and decides to consult the Paintings of the Past for further information.

This is the first time Kion sees the face of his great uncle Scar.
