Kwato

Kwato is a character that appears in The Lion Guard.

He resides in the Pride Lands.

Personality[]

Kwato is shown to be playful and fun-loving just like his friends. He admires the Lion Guard and enjoys pretending to be a member. He is shown to be considerate of his friends, and is quick to defend them, as well as himself, fiercely against foes.

Role in the Series[]

In "Follow That Hippo!" Kwato and his friends are pretending to be hyenas when they scare the animals in the Pride Lands. The Lion Guard comes to talk to them. Kion says that they shouldn't be hyenas since Janaja's Clan is in the Pride Lands somewhere. Mtoto asks if the real Lion Guard can play with them. Kion says that it sounds like fun but they need to do some training. Later while playing they get chased by hyenas. Mtoto's friends warn Beshte about Mtoto being in danger and Beshte goes to save him. After hearing how Beshte saved Mtoto Kion gives all of the kids the Mark of the Guard.

In "Never Roar Again" Makuu scares the little zebra out of the flood plains.

Mtoto, Gumba, Kambuni and Shauku[]

Kwato is good friends with them. He loves playing predent Lion Guard with them. When Mtoto went to hang out with Beshte and the rest of the guard Kwato thought it was cool.

Thurston[]

Kwato and Thurston are on good terms since he is the leader of their herd. When they said that Mtoto was being chased by hyenas he didn't believe them. In "Never Roar Again" Kwato took Thurston's advice to panic and run when Makuu and his crocs took over the Flood Plains. Thurston will always look out for the little zebra.

Kion, Bunga, Fuli, Ono and Beshte[]

Kwato is allies with all of the members in the Lion Guard. However Kion didn't like it when the kids were predenting to be hyenas. Kwato gets execited when Kion gives him the Mark of the Guard.

Enemies[]

Janja's Clan[]

While chasing a group of hyraxes Janja and his clan starts chasing them. They all get away but Mtoto didn't. They went to warn Beshte and Beshte saved Mtoto.

Makuu[]

When Kwato and his herd has been attack by Makuu and his float to take over the Flood Plains.
