"Remember Who You Are" is an instrumental score composed by Hans Zimmer heard on the album, The Lion King: The Legacy Collection. This score is named after one of Mufasa's lines telling Simba to remember that he is Mufasa's son who needs to take his place as king.
"Remember Who You Are" can be heard from when Simba and Nala walk through the Jungle directly after "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" where he and Nala get into an argument about returning to the Pride Lands because Scar is destroying the Pride Lands to which Simba feels upset about his argument with Nala about returning to the Pride Lands because of Scar. The score then pauses into a solemn melody where Simba is angry about himself. The score also includes a brief snippet of "Lala" just as Simba reunites with Rafiki who convinces Simba to see his father because according to Rafiki, Mufasa's spirit lives inside him to which the score loops into an upbeat chanting verse where Simba follows Rafiki to look at the pool to reflect himself to not forget him, followed by Simba looking at Mufasa's ghost who tells him that he must return to the Pride Lands to take his place as future king. Just as Mufasa's ghost tells Simba that he must return to the Pride Lands to take his place as future king, the score becomes ominous just as Simba tells him not to leave, followed by Mufasa telling him who he really is. The score then stops for a while when Simba tells Rafiki that it is his father who advises him that he must return to the Pride Lands because of Scar. It then ends with a snippet of "Busa" when Simba decides to return to the Pride Lands through the insistence of Rafiki and his father's ghost just as the scene shifts to Nala waking up Timon and Pumbaa who tells them that Simba has returned to the Pride Lands to take his place as future king.
A reimagined version of the score appears during the part where Simba reflects himself to see his father, where it is titled as "Reflections of Mufasa".
