"Swept Away" is the thirty-third episode of the Disney Jr. animated series The Lion Guard. It premiered on September 15, 2017, and is the seventh episode of the second season.
Plot[]
Thurston and his herd are stuck in some mud because their stupidity made them forget that the Dry Season's heat dried up the river they drink from. The Lion Guard arrive to get them out and Kion does so by using the Roar of the Elders to make it rain. The rain enables to zebras to get their feet out. Unfortunately, it unleashed more water than Kion expected in a way that causes a flash flood. The flood washes Beshte, who stopped to help two zebras, all the way into the Outlands. Beshte heads back to the Pride Lands. He runs into the Skinks on the way.
Meanwhile, back in the Pride Lands, the rain has finally stopped. After making sure Thurston's Herd is fine, they discover Beshte is gone. After deducing that he was swept away by the flood, they set off to look for him. When they discover that he's in the Outlands, they split up to look for him so they can get him home before he gets sunburnt. In the Outlands Volcano, one of the Skinks tell Ushari and Janja's Clan that Beshte is alone in the Outlands. Scar appears and tells them it's the perfect opportunity to eliminate Beshte and weaken the Lion Guard. Chungu reminds everyone that Beshte is the Strongest member of the Guard to which Scar reminds him that it's the Dry Season and that too much sun makes Hippos weak. He then gives them a plan.
The Skinks lead Beshte to a dead end and Janja's Clan drops rocks on him. The Lion Guard appears to rescue him and Kion drives the hyenas away with the Roar. Upon them landing, Ushari tells the hyenas that Scar wants to see them and isn't happy. The Lion Guard takes a sunburnt Beshte back to the Pride Lands where he treats his sunburns with some mud.
