January 6, 2021, was a disaster for the American Right. Despite the emotional satisfaction some felt, the riot at the Capitol discredited President Donald Trump, allowed the Left to call conservatives rioters, justified yet more repression, and forced Republicans who had been investigating the 2020 election into full retreat.
It would have been far better if the activists had done nothing, and if President had Trump urged demonstrators — unequivocally — to be peaceful. In the chaos that did follow, what was the rioters’ plan? There probably wasn’t one.
Congress impeached the President for supposedly starting an insurrection, but if he had wanted a coup, he could have called on the crowd to take the Capitol. Instead, in addition to warning them, “If you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore,” he told them to “please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement,” “stay peaceful,” and then, finally, “go home with love & in peace.” Social media banned him, convicting him of the very charges for which the Senate acquitted him.
Was this an insurrection? We have prosecutions and even a few convictions for “seditious conspiracy,” but no level-headed person can possibly believe that the rioters who broke into the Capitol were part of plan to overthrow the United States government.
The seeming desperation of government officials, journalists, and politicians to make the January 6 riot seem like a fundamental threat to the republic have led some to suggest the entire thing was a hoax — an inside job by intelligence services. The truth is much more banal: It was a protest that got out of control. But no one seems to want to know what really happened and understand what went wrong: Why was there such poor security? Did the Capitol Police handle the crowd badly? What were the intent and motives of the people in the crowd? Were federal agents involved in any way?
Instead, government officials, journalists, and politicians from both parties seem eager to hide what happened — and this is exactly what radicalizes people and fuels “conspiracy theories.” It is the behavior of a paranoid regime that insists on a propagandized version of a historic event, not the government of a free people, bound by the rule of law, seeking the truth. The system that rules us — the federal government, intelligence agencies, federal law enforcement, and media that justify their behavior — are doing what rioters on January 6, 2021, failed to do. They are fatally undermining the regime’s legitimacy.
Tucker Carlson recently aired some never-before-made-public footage from January 6. It shows protesters, not rioters, walking calmly through the Capitol. The most prominent figure is Jacob Chansley, the “QAnon Shaman” who wore a Viking headdress. Law enforcement practically gave him an escort, and in a prayer on the Senate floor, he gave thanks that police “allow[ed] us into the building.”
The first people into the Capital clearly broke in. Once that happened, Capitol Police must have realized there was no way they could keep others out. But giving up the fight is not the same thing as welcoming demonstrators into the building.
Some have called Tucker Carlson’s video selections just as tendentious as those of the Congressional “investigation,” which was nothing more than a case for the prosecution. But what should we make of the people who walked in after the violence? The Capitol is a big place, and some may not have seen anything untoward at all. If they entered an unguarded building, acted peacefully, and were arrested days and months later, do they deserve prison sentences?
Whatever happened that day, Jacob Chansley should have been given this footage before he pled guilty to obstructing a congressional proceeding and got 41 months in prison. The right of a defendant to see all the evidence — both good and bad — is fundamental to the American system. Andrew McCarthy wrote at National Review that Mr. Chansley’s attorneys would have “insisted on being shown any potentially exculpatory evidence prior to the guilty plea.” However, they probably couldn’t. His counsel didn’t know about the tapes, which were in the possession of Congress. The Justice Department could have said it didn’t have them and couldn’t produce them. “So Committee members and counsel buried footage that was clearly relevant to literally hundreds of people facing criminal sentencing across the country,” says legal analyst Jonathan Turley. “They did this while repeatedly referencing those cases in hearings as upholding the rule of law.”
Did the FBI or other agencies have people in the crowd who may have been urging it on? Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) wants to know all the federal agents who were there. “There’s some really strange behavior on those videos,” he said, “people behind the police lines in plain clothes, touching them on the shoulder, talking in their ear, around boundaries like they weren’t even there.” Rep. Massie pointed out that Attorney General Merrick Garland refused to answer his question about the number of federal agents on duty. If a congressman can’t get answers, how can we?
The footage also shows that a congressional investigation edited footage to make Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) look foolish, running away from the protesters. He was part of a group of other legislators — and he was at the back. This may seem a small point, but this was part of a hearing that was staged as entertainment and political propaganda.
Officer Brian Sicknick, whom some alleged died because he was attacked by Trump supporters, appears in the footage looking fine, even after the attack. Ray Epps, a man who called on the crowd to go into the Capitol and reportedly bragged about orchestrating the attack, is on video in the crowd about 30 minutes after the time he told the January 6 Committee that he had left.
Tucker Carlson points out that when there was an attack on the White House by antifa, Washington DC police refused to help Secret Service agents. He said both events were bad, but we remember only one — many people are now incredulous if you tell them the President had to be evacuated to a secure bunker — because the regime promotes one but not the other.
Almost every week, people on Twitter celebrate a black Capitol Police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt. I suspect that if an officer had shot a rioter trying to storm the Trump White House, he would be treated like Derek Chauvin, not given a worshipful interview by NBC news. Likewise, the New York Times wrote that President Trump had “shrunk back,” submitting to being hustled into the bunker. I’m not aware of any such description of fleeing senators and congressmen.
“Whataboutism” is a lazy form of argument, but we must use it in a media environment that so selectively whips up emotion. People passionately care about George Floyd because journalists told them to. They don’t care about Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, two young white people tortured to death in 2007 by blacks, because most never even heard about them. George Floyd was an excuse to push a political message about police wantonly killing black people. Collective media storylines are now central to American politics. Floyd’s death could have been a story about black crime, drug use, and the sometimes-fatal consequences of resisting arrest.
How did media react to Tucker Carlson’s report? Politicians, journalists, and late-night hosts — essentially the same class — are not happy. And, indeed, a strong case can be made against releasing tens of thousands of hours of video exclusively to a single partisan reporter who would surely use it selectively to make a case, just as the Jan 6 investigation did. Critics were joined by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who said that “it was a mistake, in my view, [for] Fox News to depict this in a way completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official in the Capitol” described.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) had the most revealing response: “Rupert Murdoch has a special obligation to stop Tucker Carlson from going on tonight [and] from letting him go on again and again and again [because] our democracy depends on it.” If “our democracy” “depends” on a senator browbeating an oligarch to muzzle one dissenting voice, it’s not worth saving. The White House called Tucker Carlson’s report “shameful” because “we saw Capitol Police officers lose their lives or police officers lose their lives.” It’s probably too much to expect the black Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to know that’s not even true. How could she know? CNN celebrated her “extraordinary rebuke.”
“Our democracy” is not in danger and never was, even though President Biden said the January 6 riot was the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War,” and Kamala Harris compared it to Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Such comparisons tell us more about the people making them than the event itself.
And what about the riots that swept the country in 2020? They resulted in $2 billion in insurance claims and the real costs were vastly higher. At least 25 Americans died. Americans saw a police station burned to the ground, priceless monuments destroyed, and leftists claim sovereignty for several days over part of a major American city. Thirty states and DC called out the National Guard and more than 200 cities imposed curfews. Murders increased at a record rate. In some ways, the revolt still hasn’t ended.
In 2020, policed backed away from rioters when they weren’t kneeling to them. Some protesters will be paid rather than punished. Defending yourself was dangerous. Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted, but he now faces a civil suit. Another man, Jake Gardner, committed suicide in 2020 after media and protesters successfully pushed a grand jury to indict him for manslaughter, even after he was initially cleared in a self-defense case. Law-abiding Americans of all races could be forgiven for thinking that their government had abandoned them. That’s the government we still have.
By contrast the only people who died at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, were Donald Trump supporters; media seem to care nothing about them. If it was an attack on “democracy,” so too was the antifa attack on the White House that few remember, but Jan 6 justified a sweeping crackdown in response to a supposed threat the government seems eager to exaggerate.
We can have few illusions that Tucker Carlson’s tapes will change Jan 6 prosecutions. “Equality before the law” has always been polite fiction. Rich defendants or those who can count on help from the National Lawyers Guild will always stand a better chance than conservative protesters with little money and no top-shelf lawyers eager to take their cases pro bono. Judges are political appointees or politicians themselves. A “jury of your peers” means little for a white conservative facing a non-white jury. The American legal system can ruin your life even if you are acquitted. It’s not surprising Jake Gardner committed suicide; it’s surprising more don’t.
Still, we expect certain norms to be followed. The “QAnon Shaman” never saw all the evidence. A trial of the Proud Boys hit a snag because the defense found “hidden” FBI messages, including an agent describing a supervisor’s order to “destroy 338 items of evidence.” During damaging cross-examination of witnesses, the Justice Department claimed that it had accidently “spilled” classified information into the trial, and a judge eventually ordered the defense to ignore it. There’s almost no way to know the truth, nor to find out what the FBI says is too “classified” for people on trial to see.
If you take unfashionable political positions, most media and politicians will cheer your persecution and threaten those who speak in your defense. The media are not a check on power. They are power.
Critical race theory is already within the legal system and those who think January 6 was as bad as Pearl Harbor will not shy from bending the rules to lock away people they think are that dangerous. This is the system whose uniformed officers knelt to BLM protesters and that is now awarding them damages.
January 6 was not a threat to the established order. The regime’s reaction is one of paranoia and weakness. Its desperation to defend an established, obviously slanted story means “our democracy” is becoming an arthritic autocracy that will defend its propaganda in the teeth of all evidence. It is no longer capable of subtlety. The system and its courtiers are shredding their credibility even when they don’t need to. It’s worse than a crime — it’s a mistake. For that, we can be grateful.

I would like to know what happened to those men in the same room as Ashli Babbit who were breaking windows, while the police stepped aside? Were they prosecuted?. One of them was interviewed on CNN the following week. He wasn’t arrested. We had seen a few trouble makers breaking windows inside and outside the building, but none of us know what happened to these people, and if they were arrested and tried. Who are those people languishing in the jails, without trial? Who are those persons who were proseacuted?
BEFORE Ashli Babbitt climbed through the window, you could hear the rest of them in the room screaming, “he’s got a gun”. When you hear those words, would anyone climb through a window, or would they duck for cover.
Ashli Babbitt was a part of the 113th Squad of the Air National Guard, whose sole duty it was to protect the Capitol. As a member of the Air National Guard she is expected to serve one weekend per month, and two weeks per year. Yet, instead of protecting the capitol, she, unlike so many others, went into that building? When we were told she was married, we next find out that her “husband” is living with another woman. They explain it all by telling us they were living in a “trouple”. The family was then interviewed and we find out that none of them went to Washington DC to “identify the body”. The body was cremated before it left Washington and allegedly sent to California. Who identified the body?. We next find out that shortly before January 6, Ashli Babbitt who voted for Obama was making twitter rants saying things that made absolutely no sense. She went to Washington DC by plane, and sat next to a CNN reporter.
Then we have a police officer, for no reason at all, takes out a gun and shoots her? We are not told his name for weeks; he is then allegedly investigated, following none of the protocols in this investigation, and is “cleared”, when any other police officer would be charged with murder?
Ashli Babbitt’s family has yet to bring their wongful death suit, and have lost one aspect of it in failing to file one of those claims within one year of the event. There are reports of the family “planning” to bring one, but one has never been brought.

I watched his Jan 6 speech in front of the White House and, before hearing about all the ruckus, his speech struck me as being inflammatory, despite Trump covering his ass with his ‘of course be peaceful’ phrase.
I’ll vote right now. I think Trump was ‘in on it’. The Deep State was prepared for a ‘media event’ and they made sure it happened and they milked it for two years. Trump played and is playing his role in the spectacle. Trump is a reality TV specialist. Trained. Without even asserting a ‘top down’ script writing and directing TV we can simply assume both ‘sides’ know how to play the game without even being overtly directed.
Again, Trump WAS IN ON IT.
Trial by jury was also one of the most important parts of our system that the Founders gave us. It allows for jury nullification, the concept that someone guilty of an unjust law can be found innocent and freed by the jury decision. Or someone may be freed who is clearly guilty to send a social or political message (i.e. O.J. Simpson beating a double homicide charge as payback for the Rodney King beating and acquittal of the officers involved).
No one foresaw Jury Conviction. A hostile jury, no matter the evidence or law, may convict out of spite, or as retribution for perceived past wrongs. The fear an individual but honest juror faces nowadays of being doxxed – losing a job or having their family attacked – is a real one. Convicting an innocent man so the societal “apple cart” doesn’t get upset is expedient, but not justice. That’s the Chauvin example.
And with the complexities of modern life, Jury duty is not seen as a civic duty but a burden to most middle class people who work for a living. That leaves the dregs, the unemployed and the activists eager to serve if they can push an agenda as a juror.

Whether Trump was in on it doesn’t matter to me. What matters to me is the way he set up his supporters. He said “I will be right behind you” and then he went back to the White House. Anyone supporting Trump at this point is beyond help.

So Sullivan hired a retired judge to see if Flynn committed perjury because Flynn had pled guilty to the FBI bogus charge. The judge then essentially became the prosecution.
I had just assumed this was just one stupid and political judge and the outrageous action would be quickly rectified.

Bemoaning loudly the “loss” of so many such things that never actually existed anyhow, except in their own captive imaginations and the language corrupted and perverted to “describe” them, has become an ongoing feature of the preprogrammed reaction of the domesticated peoples to the inescapable effects of the terminal throes of the disease process itself. Today, the symptom-suppression regime so long so reflexively resorted-to, has no longer even any semblance of being either “safe” or “effective” as a remedy for their “self”-inflicted predicament. It is instead revealed finally as being both deadly dangerous and fatally futile.

In today’s America, and in many other parts of the world, the process is the punishment. Selective prosecution is a major problem in this country. BLM and Antifa types who have committed crimes are ignored while innocents who defend themselves (but are of the wrong political persuasion) are charged with crimes.
Being charged with a crime, the indictment, the arraignment and trial are all a part of the punishment. Even if the case is dismissed, the damage, the difficult days, the threat of fines, incarceration and legal bills, and the uncertainty of what comes next are all punishments.
Observe those who were arrested after the January 6, 2020 demonstrations—those who were purposely let in to the capitol by FBI types and then arrested, days, weeks, and months after the event.
Those who are presently incarcerated in the D. C. gulag for the January 6, demonstrations are “special cases”–”political prisoners” who have been identified by their political enemies and prison staff and have been selected for “special treatment”.
Even if their cases are dismissed, the damage has already been done. The time served, the harassment and brutality can never be “taken back”.
This also extends to the likes of Kyle Rittenhouse, who is clearly observed on video defending his own life against rioters, who was “put through the legal wringer”–once again, the process being the punishment. Thankfully, he was acquitted by a competently-run legal system (in his case).
The Memphis couple who were charged with “brandishing weapons” against the BLM and Antifa criminals who broke down a barrier and were trespassing on private property is but another example of selective prosecution. They were indicted on “weapons charges” for merely defending themselves.
My third and final example of this is the “Satilla (Brunswick) Three” who are languishing in prison for defending their lives and neighborhood against Ahmad Arbery, a career criminal who was “casing” construction sites for materials and tools that he could steal. In this case, the “powers that be” went “prosecutor shopping” when the initial prosecutor refused to indict. It took “four tries” before they found a prosecutor who would indict.
It turns out that Arbery was not being “chased”, but had “doubled back” and threatened the man with the shotgun, pulling on it causing it to fire. You see, Arbery had felt “disrespected”, and in his feral, simian way had to confront the man who had “disrespected” him. Arbery could have run off in any direction, but chose to confront the man with the shotgun. This was a clear case of self-defense, having been video taped as well. The trial was a fiasco, with a weak, incompetent judge, civil-rights hustlers and Arbery family members in the courtroom threatening riots if the “correct” verdict was not rendered. Requests for a change of venue and a sequestered jury were denied. Evidence showing Arbery’s previous criminal activity in the Satilla Shores neighborhood was also suppressed. It would seem that, with all of the legal and procedural misconduct, these three men should have good grounds for a successful appeal.
Once again, the process is the punishment…something democRATs have been using to their advantage.
After seeing the Jan 6 Carlton footage, leftist and staunch feminazi Naomi Wolfe wrote an extensive open letter to conservatives on her sub stack apologizing profusely to conservatives, Trump, and Trump supporters for buying the lies of the govt, media, and her own party and for basically being oblivious to just how badly and unjustly Trump, conservatives etc have been falsely demonized by the above.
So regardless of how badly some think Carlson presented the footage he showed, and that he supposedly “held back,” and didn’t come with both barrels loaded, at least one domino has fallen. She says basically the Jan 6 protesters being illegally held without due process are being railroaded by the govt. No this doesn’t represent a sea change, or any real hope of salvaging this sclerotic so called democracy, but even one lefty being red pilled is a victory, no matter how small. Lefty journalist John Nichols was the infamous “Scaffold Commander” with the bullhorn on the 6th, exhorting everyone there to , “go fill up the Capital! Your country needs you!” for 90 straight minutes.
Several of the capital police were throwing stun grenades into the crowd and hitting several protestors who were behaving in an obvious attempt to incite anger. Epps and other well-paid agents provocateur were there attempting to get the crowd to enter the building.
It was a set up.
I hope many learn from that day. The US Establishment will stoop to anything to retain the presidency, including phony terror theater to be played on patsies they can trick into being at the wrong place at the right time.
The only vote the young have left is to not actively aid the US in its color revolutions and regime-change wars by choosing a non-military career. Let Antifa fight our regime’s wars, since they love them so much.

I feel just the reverse. With their response to January 6th, the Left lost all claim to legal or moral legitimacy. It’s not going to be good for any of us in the end, but the Left lost more than the Right.

It is quite the stretch to suggest that the United States was the victim of an unjustified attack during the so-called Civil War when, in the first instance, the U.S. was maintaining a military presence on soil of another country and in the second the US brought an army on to the territory of another country for the purpose of engaging in war against it. At no point was territory of a remaining state of the United States threatened militarily prior to the initiation of hostilities by the United States.

Pence was extremely important, and the plan to physically move him away from Congress failed. If he had not been present in the building in his capacity of President of the Senate, I think the Electoral Vote Ceremony would have been delayed. I don’t think this is the proper way to frame this incident. January 6th can’t be construed to be as a battle of titans in which one happens to have lost.
Clearly, it was a very transparent set-up of a classically manipulated crowd of simpletons, orchestrated in order to cap the election fraud of 2020 and the treasonous undermining of a US president by all government agencies (to include the propaganda arm, the MSM). Par for the course for federal agencies abroad and now coordinated together domestically as well.
When you consider the long-term planning which went into setting up Russia to invade Ukraine (activities set in motion before 2005, and running uninterrupted through all administrations), and the unprecedented US response, setting the whole world on war footing with budgets on the scale of fighting world wars, then it becomes very clear that Trump could not have been allowed at the controls during the time when the plan to destroy Russia and on a world scale was going to reach the kinetic level.
Any narrative that doesn’t include the fundamental aspect of the greater context into consideration (like this article) is in my opinion willfully misleading.

Between Jan. 6 and Jan 20, 2021, Trumpstein could have issued blanket pardons to all his magatard minions involved in the capitol “insurrection”. The Jewish coalition is not dominant in the US now, and hasn’t been since Obama’s second term. In Obama’s second term, he ignored his Jewish backers and ruled through executive order and placement of Obama loyalists in the Federal bureaucracy (“the Swamp”). The Jewish establishment had no counter to this move because Obama had the urban Blacks, the largest and most effective of the Left’s street fighters. What you are looking at now is not a Jewish establishment takeover. The Jewish establishment achieved control a long time ago, by c.a. 1970. The style of Jewish takeover was legalization of financial rackets and subtle progressive destabilization and de-legitimation of the existing US society. In other words, making more places for Jewish establishment members and reducing the chance of any backlash.
Obama’s method, the Black coalition’s methods, are quite different. The style emphasizes obvious offensive physical operations and psychological operations intended to frighten the opponent. An example is the strong implication that the Republican Party is a seditious conspiracy under US criminal law, guilty of threatening “Our Democracy” with populism. The Islamic influence here is obvious, but the basic strategy is Black: to simply reduce the opposition to cowering fear.
This strategy is not available to the Jewish establishment because that establishment needs a structure to loot, and so must keep the host society alive but helpless. The Black coalition does not need such a delicate balance; in fact, since half the Black population has an IQ of 85 or less, half the Black population cannot productively participate in existing Western economic activity. The Blacks in Hood’s jpg (op. cit.) are examples of such Black people. The people in Hood’s jpg do not want to participate in Western society — they call that “acting White” and are hostile to such participation. They want to destroy Western civilization, on the grounds that it has no place for them (is “oppressive”). This goal fits well with the use of offense on the grand strategy, operational, and tactical levels as described above, and is consistent with historical goals and achievements of Black coalitions in Africa and the US.
So we are seeing very crude methods. Of course, sometimes crude methods can be effective. Here are some examples of crude methods:
Jewish media has been converted from showing Whites acting in a non-threatening way to Jewish and Black people into showing Whites acting in a highly provocative way against a society dominated by Blacks (especially Blacks with White girlfriends). Everything about Western society, from the concept of abstract truth invented by Socrates (or maybe Plato) and attacked by Postmodernism, to the idea of “ability” (now called “ableism”). Industrialization is called “destroying the Earth”, and free speech is called “misinformation”, an assault on the POC population from which the Black controlled government is trying to protect us.
Government has been reduced to leadership by White puppets, mostly senile with one obvious thug, and faceless bureaucrats who have re-purposed pilpul from defense to offense by using it to avoid reporting their bureau’s actions.
And we have what amounts to a Colour Revolution ( see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colour_revolution for a definition of the term) against the US population and the Republican part of the US government. This color revolution is being waged by the Black coalition, partly allied with Asian coalitions and the Jewish coalition (yes, they are back to being “servants of the King”), and not by the Hispanic coalition or the White Republican coalition. The elimination of policing and of some criminal law in US large urban areas is an example of the above in that only the Black coalition street fighters, the coalition’s leadership, and those whom it controls favor this elimination. The Hispanic and White populations do not favor this elimination.
The 2021/01/06 operation was a fairly obvious Black style Colour Revolution. Attack the enemy, claim that the response was an unprovoked enemy action, and trash talk the neutrals into believing your assertion. Simple, can be effective, and it’s the Black coalition’s favored offensive style. Attempts to neutralize the existence of “the tapes” consists of “trash talk” and offensive threats against gatekeepers, as per SOP described above.
So far, the crude methods have not succeeded in establishing Black coalition legitimacy, but also have not failed enough to be destroy Black coalition legitimacy.
The primary weakness of the Black coalition right now is the Ukraine/Russian Federation affair. This affair seems to be failing in a way that could end US suzerainty over Western Europe and end the free sea borne trade that constitutes “Globalization”. US suzerainty has been declining since c.a. 1990, when its primary enemy withdrew from the contest, but the end of US suzerainty would make US deficit spending impossible, thus making the contemporary form of US domestic government impossible. Like the British leadership in WW I, the Black coalition appears unable to cut its losses in Ukraine, and may therefore lose the financial base (the ability to borrow or print US Dollars that are internationally accepted ) that makes rule by Black coalition possible.
A secondary Black coalition weakness is potential loss of US Federal government legitimacy. Obvious Black coalition’s demolition (“deconstruction”) of the Western economic base and the probable failure of the current Colour Revolution threaten to establish a general US domestic belief in “the end of the rule of law”, or, to rephrase that, “the end of safety”. This belief is reinforced by the deterioration of both capital stock and labor capability in the West. Once the general population decides that a government is not legitimate, there is little that the government can do. Even a very disorganized force, such as the Afghani resistance, can prevail against the most authoritarian government if it is supported by most of the population. Even the early USSR, as ruthless a government as the Assyrian Empire, relied as much on its propaganda as it did on its gulags to keep legitimacy.
So that’s one analysis of the current situation. Failure of Silicon Valley Bank due to the Fed raising interest rates to ~4% and thus devaluing the Treasury bills that constituted The Bank’s highly conservative reserve capital may be a critical failure point. So may widespread staff reductions (e.g. General Motors fires half its workforce, railroad companies reduce staffing and capital investment enough to make routine railway operations dangerous, Zuckerman fires many staff members, and the US workforce is now short of a million (10 to the sixth power) workers as compared to the US workforce prior to the COVID-19 operation). It appears that the present US system has failed, and an interval of reorganization, perhaps as radical as the US Civil War, is about to descend upon us.

Solutions to insure honest elections and voting practices…
Quite often, the simplest, low-tech way of doing things is quite often the best way, even if it involves additional labor and effort.
Such is the case with voting and elections. Electronic voting machines have become the “normal” way of amassing and counting votes, despite these machines being subject to corruption, falsification of vote totals, being remotely operated and set up by “who knows who”, as was observed in the last number of elections..
One-day voting and paper ballots are the only way to assure a reasonable expectation of running a “clean” election. If a person cannot take the time to vote because it is too “inconvenient” he has no business voting. This also goes for ballot “drop boxes” which should be outlawed, and unrestricted “absentee ballot” voting which should only be allowed with proper vetting.
When a municipality or voting district has a 110% “voter participation rate”, something is seriously wrong and the vote should be nullified.
This also goes for the “voting machine malfunction” excuses which are also used to disenfranchise voters who vote for the “wrong” candidate. Witness the fiasco in Arizona Republican majority districts where ballots were purposely printed on paper of “the wrong size” making them useless as the voting machines could not read them.
In other vote manipulation schemes, not enough ballots were available or the machines themselves had “problems”.
Every state has laws that are supposed to insure fair, honest elections but are rarely enforced. One only has to witness the debacle in Detroit where Republican poll watchers were deliberately “locked out”, prevented from returning to their duties while the windows were being “blocked out” so that the criminal shenanigans could not be witnessed.
Despite numerous instances of video evidence being available, the “fix” was in and nothing was done. Vice President Pence shirked his Constitutional duties by “certifying” an obviously corrupt “election”.
The refusal of the courts to take on election fraud cases, citing a “lack of standing” for those attempting to bring such cases to the courts speaks VOLUMES. Despite the court’s refusal to hear such cases, EVERY voter has “standing” when it comes to honest, fair elections. It appears that the courts are compromised as well…
The voting systems in the USA are seriously compromised and have become the laughingstock of the world. Even communist states such as North Korea and Cuba have much more secure, honest voting systems.

If I had my way…
State gubernatorial practices should be run on a system similar to the electoral college system in place for the federal presidency. A county-by-county electoral representative system would be established. This is an “equalizer” which would assure that sparsely-populated counties have at least a modicum of representation, unlike today’s “winner take all” system in which the population centers control the vote. The candidates would be forced to campaign in all counties, not just those of the major population centers. This one change would largely eliminate “machine politics” where the outcome is assured by nefarious long-in-use practices.
A little background on the wisdom of the founders in establishing the “electoral college” system is in order.
Yes, the electoral college system precludes the election of the president by direct “popular vote” but with good reason.
If the “popular vote” were the practice today, candidates would have to campaign only in the major population centers and could easily ignore those of us who live in “flyover country”. The electoral system forces candidates to at least “pay attention” to “the rest of us”. A direct popular vote system would destroy that “equalizer” and would be detrimental to our republican form of government.

What I found interesting, was former prosecutor Kash Patel’s remark on Ray Epps being removed from the FBI person of interest list. I agree that the capitol mess was not a riot as we understand riots. But the fact remains, they entered the building in a manner unauthorized. And the initial entry was indeed by some force. As such they created a serious security emergency. Now in the minds of many, afterwards, it may have seemed harmless tomfoolery — but for those in that moment, in that environment, the initial confrontation was intense enough, that one officers used his side arm. The only valid complaint here is that she was unarmed — but then unarmed people are killed by the police under less dramatic environments, some while sleeping their beds.
More trained and skilled officers may not have used their firearms, but its use in this circumstance was not malicious – it appears a sincere defensive response. I have heard it stated many times, “in the mind of the officer”. I think the mind of the person shot by police matters, but that is another argument for another topic.

Blacks run the US major cities and are above criticism in the Federal bureaucracies. The drove Europeans out of Africa after WW II, and defeated the Union of South Africa, which had nuclear weapons. The standard of living in Africa may be low, and the governments may be weak, but you could say the same about large US urban areas. Blacks control both. Note that Blacks tend to control the political structure that runs Hispanic areas, and do so despite Black unpopularity among Hispanics. Whatever else they can or cannot do, Blacks can rule.

You may recall that as she was climbing through the window, there were several police officers with long guns standing behind her. They didn’t shoot her.
With regard to breaking the windows inside the building where Ashi Babbit was, you may recall that the police had been formerly standing guard in front of those windows, and inexplicably stepped aside, and while they watched, allowed those “rioters” (none of whom were arrested as far as I know) to break the windows. They were not shot by anyone. As a matter o ffact, why didn’t the police officer who shot Ashli, shot them first?
And by the way, while they were breaking the windows, there is one video I saw where they all started screaming (before Ashli climbed through the window), “he’s got a gun”. That is when Ashli Babbit decided, instead of ducking for cover, to climb through the window. ( in front of the police officers behind her with the long guns.)
