Shelia Johnson Location: Kansas City, Missouri Shelia Johnson, also known as CookingWithShelia, is an avid member of the Allrecipes Allstars and contributes her original recipes and photos to the site. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, she is a product of the KCMO public school system and a Rockhurst Alumni, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership, an MBA, and a Certification in Nonprofit Management Leadership. Her career path includes roles such as Project Manager, Director of Finance, Events Director, Client Relations Manager, Social Service Director and Sales, in both nonprofit and profit sectors. All of which have prepared Shelia for her role as CEO, Executive Producer, and Host of Gangsta Goodies Kitchen. She believes that being in the kitchen and cooking together is uniquely positioned to help bring families and communities together, one meal at a time. Through Gangsta Goodies Kitchen, Shelia has been featured in local and national print publications, participated in food competitions, collaborated with local and national brands, and facilitated community cooking demonstrations. She was nominated for Kansas City's best podcast and has made guest appearances on local and national television shows, including Food Network's NFL Tailgate Takedown. Shelia enjoys weekly meals with her family – two adult daughters, two sons-in-law, and three beautiful grandchildren.
