Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 16 servings

  • 1 (8 ounce) package low-fat cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons minced sweet onion (such as Vidalia®)

  • 2 tablespoons capers - rinsed, drained, and chopped

  • ¼ lemon, zested and juiced

  • 1 teaspoon reduced-sodium seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce

  • 3 drops hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®), or more to taste

  • 1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained

Directions

  1. Whip cream cheese in a bowl with an electric hand mixer. Add onion, capers, lemon zest and juice, seafood seasoning, parsley, Worcestershire, and hot sauce. Mix well. Add tuna and mix until well blended.

  2. Refrigerate for 2 hours, or up to overnight.
