WHO WROTE SHAKESPEARE'S PLAYS? | SHAKESPEARE AUTHORSHIP QUESTION
Hi everyone and welcome back to John Florio’s channel, i’m Mary and i’m here to talk about John Florio!
In my last video i talked about Love’s Labour’s Lost and discussed Florio’s collaboration with Shakespeare, which is something that Shakespeare’s scholars are reluctant to discuss.
When i posted the love labour’s lost video, some people have answered me: "yeah but you know, it was actually Florio who wrote the play, there was no collaboration" and talking about collaboration we obviously enter the authorship question, and ...

How Shakespeare has made me a Humanist | John Bell | TEDxBlighStreet
John Bell is one of Australia’s most illustrious theatre personalities. Award-winning actor, acclaimed director, risk-taking impresario, torch-bearing educationalist and speaker on leadership; John has been a key figure in shaping the nation’s theatrical identity as we know it.

American Shakespeare Theater Alive & Dangerous!
Corporations helped the Stratford Shakespeare Theater out for many years by making promotional videos for them, some featuring top stage and film stars. In 1986, the AST was struggling desperately to come back to the incredible summer theater it once was, but it was thwarted by politics, changing times and changing audiences. This was the last promotion done by GTE to help the theater, which went into terrible disuse soon thereafter, was derelict in a few years more, and despite many attempts to resuscitate it, was a ruin and tragically burned to the ground early 2019. This clip features Zoe Caldwell as narrator, who was directing HAMLET; also features interviews with school children, and my favorite of all, a byzantine talk with the late Professor Irwin Corey, who played the gravedigger. ...
