Don't Talk About The Rabbits

mollyamory is having some kind of moth-related nervous breakdown in anticipation of a repeat of last night, I assume. She is currently trying to convince me to leave the hall light on, in the hopes the moth will seek out brighter grounds.

In other news, my jellyfish has still not arrived. Only Kickstarter I have ever gone in on, and it's... well, ridiculously frivolous and pointless, okay, yes. But I want that jellyfish here in time for Halloween, so we can add it to the decorations mollyamory created for the house last year. And we should have plenty of time, but my batch had an estimated delivery of August, and we are well and truly past the end of August, so hopefully, they aren't encountering difficulties.

How else can we dress this place up this year? This summer I met a neighbor kid who lived two blocks down, and he demanded to know where I lived. When I described our house, he knew it instantly, and described our decorations. I am extraordinarily pleased that they made enough of an impact that the roaming bands of hooligan actually remember them over six months later.

Also, I am well and truly ready for the time of year when pumpkin gets added to everything edible.
