I have been struggling to post, or do anything, lately, so I am struggling up from the depths here to post these spoilery thoughts about tonights ep of
Really, SERIOUSLY SPOILERS.
The movies been out five friggin days people. I would be so pissed if I hadn't seen it already and watched that. SO. PISSED.
I'm so glad I finally have a legit reason to hate Ward the way I do. Before he was just so fucking boring and perfect jawed and whatever and it took me like ten episodes to even remember his name.
There were not a lot of surprises in this episode. Just a ton of spoilers. And possibly some perspective on how corrupt and incompetent the team sort of looks from an outsiders perspective.
And then the one really good thing they did here, of not making it be Hand who was the bad guy, and redeeming her character as competent, and smart, and clever, and actually making me look forward to having her around to team up with Coulson, they felt they had to UNDO by having her be unprofessional enough to tell Ward she thought he should just kill a prisoner in custody and then kill her off to boot.
But hey, at least I've been right about Ward from the start.
ETA: I did have one tiny hopeful thrilled moment when I thought the hydra agent might be Simmons, because of her delivery on the subject of getting better at lying. That was creepily done, but didn't pan out. Anyway, I don't hate her like I do Ward, so I guess that's okay, even if it would have been less predictable.
