Koh-Lanta: Raja Ampat is the thirteenth season of Koh-Lanta. It was broadcast on TF1 from September 9 to December 16, 2011, with episodes airing at 8:45 p.m.

Raja Ampat is notable for being the first Koh-Lanta season to incorporate a version of the Hidden Immunity Idol first used in the American version of Survivor, referred to as the Hidden Immunity Necklace.

Gérard Urdampilleta defeated Teheiura Teahui in a 7-2 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Production

This season was filmed in Indonesia on the archipelago of Raja Ampat.

Twists

• Expanded Cast: This is the first season to have a cast comprising of twenty castaways.
• Temporary Immunity Idols: There were two Immunity Necklaces hidden on the beach at the marooning on Day 1, one for a man and one for a woman, both of which would grant immunity at each castaway's first Tribal Council.
• Hidden Immunity Necklace: There were two hidden Immunity Necklaces hidden at each tribe's camp. Necklaces could be played at Tribal Council after the votes have been cast but before they have been read. All votes cast against the castaway it was played for would not count.
• Black Vote: The Black Vote allows a previously eliminated castaway to take revenge by casting a vote against one of the remaining castaways on their tribe. It would count at the castaway's next Tribal Council.
• Return: Starting from this season, only castaways who are medically evacuated would be replaced. Castaways who quit would not be replaced, unless they quit before the first Tribal Council. In this case, a new castaway would enter the game. Due to an evacuation this season, one castaway (Martin Bazin) returned to the game after being voted out.
