Koh-Lanta: Les 4 Terres is the twenty-fifth season of Koh-Lanta. It was broadcast on TF1 from August 28 to December 4, 2020.

Les 4 Terres is notable for being the first season of Koh-Lanta to incorporate four starting tribes instead of the usual two, with none of them having the traditional red and yellow colors.

After 40 days in the Kadavu Group in Fiji, accountant Alexandra Pornet defeated radio host Brice Petit in a 7-5 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Twists/Changes

• Expanded Cast: For the first time in Koh-Lanta history, there are 24 castaways in this season.
• Four Tribes: For the first time in Koh-Lanta history, the game starts with four tribes instead of the usual two.
• Tribes Divided by Geographic Origin: The four tribes are divided according to where the castaways are from: the Ceva, Tokalo, Vakara, and Vualiku tribes consist of castaways from Southern, Eastern, Western, and Northern France respectively.
• Exile Islet: At every Reward Challenge of the four-tribe phase, the tribe placing first gets to choose among two available rewards, and the tribe placing second wins the remaining reward. The tribe placing third goes back to their camp empty-handed, while the tribe placing last is sent to Exile Islet for 24 hours, a small island with very little resources and no water.
• Immunity Necklaces: At the beginning of the game, Immunity Necklaces (equivalent of Hidden Immunity Idols in Koh-Lanta) are hidden on each of the four tribes' camps. Some of them are only playable until the first post-merge Tribal Council. Another Immunity Necklace, valuable until the first post-merge Tribal Council, is up for grabs for the first-place finisher of the Day 12 Reward Challenge. After the merge, one of the three rewards available at the Day 24 Reward Challenge is a clue to an Immunity Necklace hidden at the merge camp.
• Bonus Reward: The Day 9 Reward Challenge is an individual endurance challenge where the last person standing wins reward for their tribe. If the last two people standing are from the same tribe, that tribe wins an additional reward.
• Triple Tribal Council: At the Day 10 Immunity Challenge, only the tribe placing first wins immunity, sending all three losing tribes to Tribal Council to vote out one person each.
• Impromptu Tribal Council: During the triple Tribal Council twist, while the tribes placing second and third in the Immunity Challenge go to Tribal Council normally the day after, the tribe that finishes last has its Tribal Council held immediately after the challenge, at the challenge site.
• Tribe Switch: On Day 12, the four original tribes are dissolved. An individual Reward Challenge is held where the first and second-place finishers become the captains of the two new tribes, Sayake and Vuro, which are formed in a Schoolyard Pick.
• Penalty Vote after Challenge: At two different challenges, the person who comes in last receives an extra vote against them at the next Tribal Council they attend. Those challenges are the Day 12 Reward Challenge and the Day 29 Immunity Challenge. Penalty votes do not extend through a revote.
• Ambassadors: At the merge, both tribes must send one of their members to the ambassadors meeting, where they must directly eliminate a castaway from the game. If the two ambassadors do not agree on a name, one of them is eliminated by a rock draw.
• Black Vote: Starting from the first post-merge Tribal Council, the person voted out gives a remaining castaway the power to vote twice at the following Tribal Council. The Black Vote does not extend through a revote.
• Sudden Death Challenges: At both the second and the fifth individual Immunity Challenges, the castaway who comes in last is directly eliminated from the game.
• Tied Destinies: On Day 30, the ten remaining castaways are divided into five pairs by a rock draw. Until the next Tribal Council, the fate of each contestant is linked to their partner: the pairs compete in challenges together, and the person voted out at Tribal Council causes their partner to be eliminated.
• Final Five: The last five castaways compete in an orienteering challenge, and the last two to finish are eliminated.
