Spring???
I looks and feels like Spring has sprung! It has been so nice lately. I got out and pruned my roses, last week. Glad I didn't wait until March because they have already started getting leaves. Actually everything around here is starting to turn green! I can hardly contain my excitement but I know, as sure as my name is Pam, we will get more winter weather before Easter. We always do but I've certainly enjoyed the last couple of days being in the 80's!
Nemo is ready for Spring, too! I know my girls and Betty Goat are getting ready to eat lots of bugs and green grass!
Not much of a post but I hope the green leaves made you as happy as they did me.
I stepped outside and wouldn't you know God has been painting again! He shares His masterpiece sunsets and I am always amazed and thankful!
Grace & Peace,
Pam

I Lied and a Very Special Day...
Yep, I lied! I didn't know I was lying but never the less I did! Just when I thought I had completed all the paperwork, they handed me another stack to be completed. UGH!!!!! Sometimes I think it just isn't worth all the trouble...but then God taps me on the shoulder and tells me to get on with it.
Yesterday, was a very special day! It was this little boy's 1st birthday! We started out at church. We have something called "The Birthday Pole", which is that white pole behind my granddaughter. Whoever is having a birthday, goes to the pole and the congregation sings Happy Birthday, to them. It is always a funny time.
In addition to Hoss' birthday, it was dedication day, too.
It was a special, beautiful time. It takes not only Mama & Daddy, to raise a child, but also grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles. It takes all of those folks plus the church family. We are blessed to have a wonderful, loving, church family, to help us with that.
I just noticed that my Mister, aka PawPaw, was almost laughing at Hoss trying to get the microphone from our Pastors, during one of the prayers. Well, I guess that's ok. I would have probably done the same thing if I had noticed!
So after church...
We smashed birthday cupcakes! I see that PawPaw helped Hoss put some "makeup" on. Eyebrows! LoL
My heart was truly blessed, yesterday!
Grace & Peace,
Pam
Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27 (NLT)That's the scripture that lead us to be foster parents. So we will be obedient...or at least try.

Bureaucratic bull corn and poor Jasper!
Whew, I finally got all that paperwork completed! You would think that it wouldn't take that long since we were already certified but that is not the way our state works. Bureaucratic bullcorn, if you ask me!
I had to take my four-legged kid, Jasper, to the vet, earlier this week. Remember, we found him on the side of the road. Well, anyhow, he has always had some kind of skin rash but we just figured he had gotten into something because he runs all over our place and the neighbors land. It never crossed our mind that it was anything as frightening as it turned out to be. Suddenly, we noticed he had little white blisters all over his under belly and down both legs. We gave him a good bath but it just kept getting worse until it got between his toes and he was going down hill. I made the appointment and took him in. As soon as the vet looked at him she knew exactly what it was. Mites! Did you hear me? Mites! Now who would have thought those tiny little bugs could do that to a big ole boy like Jasper? Apparently, these mites are under the skin and in the hair follicles, therefore giving him a bath or anything topical just doesn't work. Sooooo...$300 later and a bucket full of medicine, he is on the mend. He is almost back to his chewing, jumping, chicken-chasing, cat agitating, running all over creation, annoying self! LoL...yes, he is all that but by golly, he is such a good kid and we love him to pieces.
I've been receiving seed/plant catalogs, for weeks now. I want to have a normal garden, this year, instead of the bucket gardens, but I don't know if that will happen. The ground around here just doesn't seem to grow much of anything except weeds. We'll see. Of course, I will be loving on my roses and fruit trees, so that will keep me busy for the most part.
I have used essential oils for years, so yesterday I took the plunge and became a Young Living distributor. Since I use them so much, I should at least get a discount! Do you use essential oils? They are very beneficial to mind, body, and spirit. From time to time I will probably post a recipe or something informational.
We were gifted this television armoire. Ignore the blue hair tie on the lower doors. Grandson proofing at it's finest, courtesy of my granddaughter! HeHe!
Obviously, our tv doesn't fill the space and I'm not really wanting a larger one so I have a question for you. What would you do with the area behind the television? I don't want to paint it but I thought maybe hanging a fabric that will coordinate with the living room or something. What do you think? Any ideas?
I hope y'all have a great weekend!
