Lordy, mercy, Y'all, I have been busy as a squirrel gathering nuts for the winter! I finally took the plunge and rented a booth at a local vendor mall and will open it on March 1st, so I have been gathering, making, dusting, painting, upcycling, recycling, and in general, wearing myself out! I never knew how much work it was going to take to open a small booth! Good golly! In the midst of all this, I have been having several tests done in preparation of the bariatric surgery I am having later next week. That, in itself, has really taken a toll on my exhaustion level, but I know it will be worth it in the end. I am hoping the high blood pressure and chronic pain will be relieved. I know the pain will never completely go away but hauling around a whole other person really doesn't help, so I am excited to get this journey underway!
We finally got some winter weather on Sunday and Monday...and it is still hanging around! I know I shouldn't complain but our trees are also budding out which means pollen, which leads to my allergies acting up, which lead to sneezes and runny noses...let me tell you...sneezing and walking in icy conditions do not mix. One's patootie will end up on the ground and that is not a good thing...especially when that patootie is attached to my jacked up spine! LoL...just not fun!
Grace & Peace.
