Rainy days and Monday... yes, it is raining and for that I am glad, but I get so lazy when it is cloudy! I have so many things I need to be doing but I just can't get started, this morning! UGH! We have been in a drought for over four years so I will just go about being lazy! It is nice to have grass that is green and flowers starting to bloom and who doesn't need a nap, right!!!???
April has been a crazy month so far. My baby boy turned 32 on the 4th. Where did the time go? I'm pretty sure I just changed his diaper, yesterday! Seems the older I get the quicker time goes and I don't like it one bit! HeHe...somebody needs to slow things down just a bit!
Of course, there was Easter that same weekend and eggs were colored and hunted by the grand daughter. This was the first Easter that we colored eggs the traditional way and she had a blast and so did I! It's been a long time since we've done that around here!
My daughter, grand daughter, and I are trying out some new churches. I feel God wants me to make sure my grand daughter is in church and unfortunately, there aren't many children going to my little church. I love my church with it's handful of people but sometimes God moves us in new directions and that is what has been happening. My daughter is quite shy and won't go to church without someone with her and her husband doesn't attend church much, so in order for my grand daughter to get to go, I am the one who will need to make sure she does. I will admit, I have enjoyed the search and I can see that my daughter is also enjoying getting back to her roots of being in church, so I am stepping out of my own comfort zone! More about this later.
Oh, did you see on my other blog, "This Journey" , how much weight I have lost? I am excited about my new life!
