Endermen are a neutral species in Minecraft. They only attack if attacked or if the player makes eye contact. They appear as an alternate costume for Steve in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, albeit one block shorter.

Behavior[]

Endermen are a species of neutral mobs originating from The End dimension. They are actually one of the few species that can travel across dimensions naturally and as such they can also spawn in the Overworld and the Nether. Endermen have 40 health points and deal 4 damage on easy, 7.5 on normal, and 10.5 on hard. They can drop Ender Pearls when slain. An Enderman will not attack the player unless they attack them first or look them in the eye. Additionally, the Enderman is able to teleport around, pick up and place certain blocks and will take damage if they touch any kind of water.

Super Smash Bros. series[]

The Enderman made its first appearance in the Super Smash Bros. series in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as an alternate skin for Steve. As such the Enderman much like the Zombie possess a lot of moves that are impossible in his own series due to the moveset overlap. The Enderman depicted in the Super Smash Bros. series is also notably shorter than the usual Endermen.

Attacks[]

  • Neutral Special: Mine / Craft / Create Block
  • Side Special: Minecart
  • Up Special: Elytra
  • Down Special: TNT
  • Final Smash: House of Boom

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the Enderman's debut game. He was added alongside the rest of the Minecraft elements in the game as part of Steve's DLC pack. The Enderman has three different roles in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The first one being a playable alt of Steve. The second one is as a background element that can be seen in the Minecraft World stage. They are closer to their original appearance and will start wandering in the background of the stage once the night falls, scaring the Villagers away and carrying blocks around the stage. They will retreat once the sun rises once more. Their third appearance is as an Ace Primary Spirit that can be obtained via Steve's section of the DLC Spirit Board.
