Steve is the name of the default skin in Minecraft. Steve appears in much of Minecraft's official art, usually along with Alex. He appears as a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with Alex, Zombie, and Enderman being separate skins.
In the SSBU Tier list as of February 2024, Steve is considered the best character in the game, being at the very top of the current tier list.
Steve will be portrayed by Jack Black (who voiced Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie) in the upcoming film adaptation of the video game, A Minecraft Movie set for release on April 4, 2025.
