The greatest remake of The Life of Brian (1979) I could ever ask for.

I was Tin Man #3 in third grade for my elementary school production of the play and I remember regularly going off script to point out the obvious and break the 4th wall. Needless to say I was only on for one scene, despite all the bored adults having a good time based on what people told me. So yeah, that’s my story.

Dreamworks’ apology for Megamind 2 is almost good enough to make up for such an atrocity.

I have never cried and laughed hysterically at the same time before watching this movie. 

Also Kieran Culkin can now star in a biopic about my life.

This is a perfect movie in every way imaginable and given that I’m actually from Texas this hit especially close to home. It felt like a John Prine song in the form of a movie. One of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had seeing a movie. 

Also, fun fact: Paris, TX also has its own Eiffel Tower.

Yeah some of the twists and plot points don’t make sense, and some of the characters choices feel a bit stupid sometimes and the messages may be too unsubtle but goddamn it anything that can make me cry is good in my eyes. Not to mention the amazing production design and art direction.

Whoa. I don’t believe it. What do I even say? 

This is one of the greatest shows of the 2020s. The acting is Emmy winning. The writing is some of the most engaging, clever and dark I have seen in recent years. The cinematography is well, cinematic. The editing is solid. The score is solid. The non original music is great. The narrative structure is captivating. The production design and art direction are beautifully bleak. 

I will admit that maybe the pacing is a little fast paced for me but who cares. This show is worth it. Go watch it now. Give Colin, Cristin, Lauren (LeFranc) and the writers Emmys; they all deserve it.

My dad watched this with me like his dad did with him, continuing the great family tradition of watching this masterpiece as a father and son duo.

What I love about this movie, despite its kind of obvious flaws, is that it portrays the west as a cruel and somewhat horrifying place where everyone is subjected to abject savagery as well as the visual metaphor for how killing and vengeance is a drag on one’s soul. Good movie.

I think this holds the title for the horniest movie I have ever seen.

It never ceases to amaze me what can be achieved with a PG rating. 

Also what’s up with movies and tv shows about weird shit always being set in the Pacific Northwest?

Roman Polanski should have made a cameo as Satan at the end of the movie. Also I can’t believe he of all people made such a profoundly feminist movie; I hate he did because fuck him but yeah, this movie is amazing. Also I think I once met a 50-60 something New Yorker named Adrian. We talked and said he grew up on the Upper West side and was raised by his mother. His father wasn’t around that much. I met him on a bench in Central Park. He was a nice guy, which surprised me since he worked on Wall Street and gave up yuppie vibes. 

So tldr, I may have met the Antichrist a few weeks ago.

Imagine spending like hundreds of millions of dollars on a joker movie just for the movie to argue Joker isn’t really in it.

So several things I guess. 

1. This looks fucking great. 
2. The story kinda sucks tbh. 
3. Oogie Boogie being a charismatic, horny gambling addict is such a vibe. 
4. WTF was the relationship between Sally and the doctor because this is a kids movie. 
5. How did they get the military to shoot guns at Jack? 

So yeah, I liked it.

This movie should be forced viewing for every conservative politician.

This is joker for Onlyfans girls.

Great movie, but can somebody explain why Reagan specifically was possessed? Was there like an actual reason or was she just the unlucky person that it happened to because she contacted the demon. 

Also Lee J. Cobb acting like your average Letterboxd user was really funny to me.

Watching the Penguinz0 v. Sneako drama unfold was the internet equivalent of watching this movie for the first time. It was a sight to behold.

You think in the future there will be a Jake Paul biopic called Raging Bullshit?
