Watched for the 30th year anniversary and it's still a masterpiece of course! Perfect in every way. Simba's arc is one of the best ever, Scar is perfection as always, the animation is so great for the time and is just beautiful, the score is one of the best I've ever heard, Hans Zimmer really is the GOAT, the songs all slap, with The Circle Of Life being so iconic and epic, and obviously Be Prepared is just such a PEAK villain song, the rest are great too. Every voice actor is amazing and perfect for the roles, with James Earl Jones and Jeremy Irons being the two clear best in the movie. Such iconic voices for the iconic characters!
It's fun, hilarious at times, epic, emotional, inspiring, every word you can think of, it's just perfect in every way and one of my favorite movies ever! So happy to revisit it on the 30th anniversary, love it so much!
