I FINALLY GOT TO REWATCH THE GREATEST ANIMATION MOVIE OF ALL TIME IN THEATERS TONIGHT!!! I adore everything about this movie. Watching this in theaters truly was incredible in every way. Listening to all the big hit songs like Circle of Life, I Just Can't Wait to Be King, Be Prepared, Hakuna Matata, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight was amazing and beautiful to look at. Hans Zimmer did an incredible job with the score and it still remains of my favorite scores from him to this day. Elton John and Tim Rice did an incredible job on the soundtrack and it could be my favorite soundtrack in a movie possibly. Everyone in the cast is fantastic. Matthew Broderick is incredible as Simba and was the perfect choice to voice Simba! Jeremy Irons is absolutely extraordinary as Scar and is easily the best animation villain ever. He gives maybe the best voice performance ever! Scar truly is an incredible villain and is one of the best ever. James Earl Jones is iconic as Mufasa and voices Mufasa incredibly well. The Lion King has such a stacked cast! Rowan Atkinson as Zazu, Nathan Lane as Timon, Ernie Sabella as Pumbaa, Moira Kelly as Nala, and Whoopi Goldberg as Shenzi are all fantastic! Everything about this movie is perfection. The story is beautiful. The animation is gorgeous in every way. While writing this review I might go rewatch this again in theaters tomorrow possibly. I am truly so happy I got to watch this masterpiece in theaters. If any of you have a theater near you go watch this on the big screen because it's worth it!!
