"HAKUNA MATATA!"
I watched it when I was a kid, and now when I watched it with my little cousins, I felt like I had really grown up.
I can imagine that most people spent their childhood with this movie and how special it is for them. But as someone who lived her childhood in the 2010s, this movie never had a big impact on me.
As for the movie, the opening scene was very magnificent. And the other musical parts were amazing. Mufasa's death traumatized me even at the age of 20. Simba's scenes with his father and his conversation with his father's silhouette were very emotional. It was a little more realistic and striking than other Disney animations. I noticed the fear and sadness in my cousins' eyes in most scenes. And I have been in love with villain characters since I was little. Even though Scar is a wild and asshole character, for some reason I have sympathy for him. He has a charismatic side ( i can fix him) Although it is a nice animation, I think it is very overrated.
