After I heard the shocking and devastating news that James Earl Jones passed away, I decided that tonight was the night to rewatch The Lion King. I should have honestly had this film at a five, and I am pretty disappointed that I have always had this film at a 4.5. Mufasa is such an inspirational character to me, and I was tearing up a lot. His words are so motivational, and I really loved how wonderful of a father he was!! I wish that I was able to cry during this film because I will truly miss James Earl Jones, since he was a really big part of my childhood. Additionally, The Lion King will always be a film that holds a special place in my heart, and I will always remember the beautifully composed score as well!!
Rest in peace James Earl Jones. You will truly be missed. 🕊️🕊️💔💔😥😥
"Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance. As king, you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures, from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope." - Mufasa (James Earl Jones)
