Hell yeah, this is more like it! Nolan's previous movie, Tenet, was a real disappointment to me, because it felt like it was an AI creation. With Oppenheimer, the man actually brings back some humanity. The main reason for that is Cillian Murphy, who gives a career best performance. The rest of the (impressive) cast is equally amazing though.
Of course Nolan is still preoccupied with out-of-sync narration, but I feel like he tones it down enough so that it doesn't distract from the story.
I am very impressed with Oppenheimer.
