It’s grandiose, massive, almost beautiful at times. No doubt everything here has been meticulously crafted with a care for even the smallest details.
The thing is just that the storytelling is so cold, so humanless, so devoid of any emotion that it’s difficult for me to feel anything.
Once the bomb went off this movie took a turn for the worse and the last 50 minutes or so felt like a chore.
I dunno, it’s probably just me, but these MASSIVE films sometimes end up feeling so big that they get detached from everything and I’m unable to truly connect. I’m not denying the quality of it, I guess it’s just not for me.
