Nolan wanted us to see this as laser projected 70mm pellicule on an IMAX screen. I watched it with my lovely wife on Netflix.
The good. The setting up of the Manhattan project and build up to the trinity test. Richard Feynman really played the bongos to celebrate the success of the test.
The bad. Please don't make me sit to another parliamentary hearing or investigation committee ever again. That flashback formula is worn out. The story is the same as in the documentary, To End All War, Oppenheimer & The Atomic Bomb. It is a great story. This movie doesn't really add anything.
The ugly. The score was irritating. Cillian Murphy's Dutch. Dub it. I am available.
The citing "Now i have become death ... " during sex is completely ridiculous. Just moan. Dub it. I am available.
