Longlegs was an original and stimulating experience from a creator clearly excited about his own ideas. It's noticeably satisfying to watch a film that people were passionate about making.
My main critique is that I am bored of reveals happening through a poetic-storytelling technique. It's already tired and cheesy. Otherwise, I had a lot of fun and will gladly support everything that Perkins does by paying at the theatre!
Nicolas Cage brought the crowd. It was date night at the retirement home or something, because we thought we were walking into the wrong film at first. The man next to my boyfriend was listening to a walkman during the previews and told us he couldn't see anything. Leaving the theatre, a few of the elderly women described this as the worst film they've ever seen.
I still think that I prefer The First Omen over this, and I don't know how I feel about that...
