If you are a big charlie_made_me fan you would notice that I've been watching a lot of sad romance movies lately. You might be thinking "Is charlie_made_me okay?" Well if you asked me a couple days ago I would say no. But now I don't know. I see negatives but also there are positives. Anyway I don't really wanna talk about it.
What I do wanna talk about is that this is my 7th watch of La La Land (wooo)
But what I really want to talk about is love. Love is the most important thing in life. Everything we do should be a reflection of love in some way. In the New Testament, Jesus gives us two commandments. To put them simply they are to love God and love one another. Love is the one thing that can transcend time, space, death, all. Love is really the only thing in this world that can be eternal. But I wanna focus this on romantic love. Pure romantic love, not just lustful feelings, is so incredibly beautiful. I am actually astonished that there are people who don't believe in love (just look at some of the most popular Before Sunrise reviews on here). To think that love, the purest, most genuine feeling on this earth is just a chemical reaction or does not exist is completely absurd. It's as ridiculous as saying happiness or sadness doesn't exist. But I think I might understand why some people think this. We, as a society, have given "love" a completely perverted definition. Some people have never felt nor received real love. A selfless, pure love. THE PASSION, THE CONNECTION, REAL LOVE THAT IS A CHOICE. Everyday you are choosing to love that person with everything you have. Love is real.
