I thought when I watched this that I was maturing as a moviegoer, that maybe I actually COULD be a guy that likes musicals. So I watched a few more, and hated them.
I only liked this movie because it actually is that good. It's actually great. My only issue is actually the two leads singing voices. I mean, they're perfectly adequate, but the musical sequences are carried by their subtle yet superb choreography, and their excellent cinematography.
Overall i'd say it's superb, and stands as one of 2016's best films.
