l don't normally like films in the "romance" genre but this was great. chazelle unlike other directors used colours to convey emotion. the clever shots and ingenious musical scenes were all visually and psychologically fantastic. the dialogue worked in every way possible. the two leads had great chemistry. the ending was sad but satisfying which made it a great full movie. the score was obviously fantastic just like the acting. I loved the way the different seasons segmented the story into different stages. again, its not my type of film (normally) but other than my personal cluelessness of this genre there was almost no flaws.
