“People love what other people are passionate about.”
There’s not many things in life that I love more than La La Land. This marvellously heartbreaking yet inspiring musical tale never ceases to amaze me. So when I saw it was playing in a nearby theatre, I had to be there.
There’s something so magical about this film, and even more so on the big screen. All the things I love about this film - the music, the visuals, the acting, the setting (and everything else) are all enhanced by the theatre experience. I’m glad I finally got to see it the way it was intended to be seen - on the biggest screen with all the unhealthiest snacks.
This is my desert island movie! Now hopefully this isn’t the only Chazelle film I see at the cinema this year. (I stg delay Babylon and I will cry harder than I do when I watch this!)
