when this first came out I was in 5th grade and didn't see it until a year later. When I saw it I liked everything about it from the music to the dancing to the colors. Everything was very energetic.
I had some money so I thought I would buy a movie I bought la la land on blu ray because it was 5 dollars which was supa cheap. I put it on this morning because I had nothing better to do and I was sucked into the magical (not like irl) world of LA the scene where mia and sebastian walk buy a shooting for a movie is super cool
I have very few flaws with this film but I felt like Emma stones voice was a bit flat and I wanted to see more scenes with her friends but that's about
The ending I think makes fun of "happy endings" because when mia and sebastian imagine their life together that's what Hollywood wants us to see when the make a movie like that however that's not the case for this film as it is all in their head.
Also jk Simmons is in this and this is the second time he said you're done to a jazz musician who looks up to Charlie parker😂
