“These things are hard on your heart.”
The entire movie is perfection. Cillian/Oppenheimer both had the weight of the world on their shoulders in their respective journeys. it’s really always so shocking to see what the human mind is capable of accomplishing. an incredible ensemble cast, and i think of gary oldman especially, 90 seconds of screen time in 3 hour movie, one of the best actors of our time, using his talents for the greater good of an all time movie.
looks and sounds amazing. it doesn’t give the same effect as it did in the theater or in IMAX so i feel bad for those who weren’t lucky enough to experience it. but this movie will stand the test of time regardless. 3 hours of mostly talking and consistently riveting after 8 viewings. completely pulled into the bubble of oppenheimer and his genius. what they put him through post bomb was terrible, a man who really loved his country and tried to do what was best for them, completely cast aside. what a shame.
