Took me a little bit to really get into the movie, but once we get rolling during the second hour with the tension of the bomb making and testing i was all in.
In the third hour with the hearings and flashbacks I was still in. The acting as expected was top notch. Murphy, Downey and Blunt were great, but I thought Jason Clarke stood out mostly. The guy is intense when he needs to be. He's awesome in this and Winning Time as Jerry West. Didn't even notice Gary Oldman was Truman till I looked at the cast listing afterwards. Grew up watching David Krumholtz and Josh Harnett, and it's weird now seeing them in older middle aged roles.
Oppenheimer is a really good movie, it's not perfect, there's times where the run time drags, but I think it'll hold up on multiple viewings.
