I believe we did.
I think I need to rewatch it later to understand and appreciate it completely but even in the first watch everything was great.cinematography,soundtrack and performances were in the best level.
The only problem that I had with it was It was full of dialogues and scientific, political conversations that makes it a little boring especially in the middle. But Nolan shows Oppenheimer's story in the best way that even those boring conversations become interesting and ends the movie in the best way.
I really liked non linear timeline which is characteristic of Nolan's movies. Of course it makes it a little hard to follow it and after watching it I had to see a explaining video to understand the story and timeline.
I didn't like cillian murphy before watching it ,but his performance was great and he played the role of Oppenheimer in the best way and even made me like him and I think he can win the oscar.The rest of the cast were also great.
Now I've watched all of nolan movies and he always proves that he is one of the greatest directors and he can make masterpieces in any genre.Not only complicated sci-fi films but even a biographical film.
Watching Oppenheimer was a strange experience . I knew that I was watching a great movie but I wasn't sure that I liked it or not. But now after thinking for hours about it ,I'm sure it's the best 2023 movie that i've seen so far and was a great and enjoyable 3-hour experience.
