The use of Banham could be a tribute to English architectural historian Reyner Banham, who studied the architecture and ecology of Los Angeles and published the book Los Angeles: The Architecture of Four Ecologies. Perhaps the Rockstar team used the book as a source material when they studied Los Angeles.
