Go further than you ever should with JUNK.”
Junk Energy Skydives are a series of challenges/collectibles featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Criminal Enterprises update, added in the Junk Energy Skydives Week.
The activity is endorsed by Junk Energy Drink.
Overview[]
The skydives work very similarly to the Parachute Jumps from Grand Theft Auto V, where players have to jump from certain locations to skydive through checkpoints. Depending on the location, the player may find a JUNK parachute in the open or a small booth.
These activities are available daily, so a new set of ten jumps appears every day, regardless of how many were completed the previous day. There is a selection of 25 possible locations, from which ten are randomly chosen and will be marked on the map with the icon. Players can track their progress in the Interaction Menu, under Inventory > Daily Collectibles > Junk Energy Skydives.
There are three challenges the player must complete to attain the gold medal, as well as the maximum reward of $5,000 and 2,500 RP per jump:
- All Checkpoints Hit: the player must pass through all checkpoints before the drop zone. Awards the player with $2,000 and 1,000 RP ($200 and 100 RP for subsequent jumps).
- Par Time Beaten: the player must complete the jump within a time limit. Awards the player with $2,000 and 1,000 RP ($200 and 100 RP for subsequent jumps).
- Accurate Landing: the player must land at the designated location. Awards the player with $1,000 and 500 RP ($100 and 50 RP for subsequent jumps).
Once the player completes the skydive, it will be marked with a green checkmark , and if the player achieves the gold medal, the skydive will instead be marked with a gold checkmark .
Completing all daily jumps awards the player with an additional $50,000, and completing all jumps with the gold medal rewards the player with another $50,000, totaling $150,000 per day.
