Kaveh is a playable Dendro character in Genshin Impact.

The architect behind the Palace of Alcazarzaray, Kaveh was a student of the Kshahrewar Darshan of the Sumeru Akademiya and graduated with honors, earning the moniker "Light of Kshahrewar." Having become insolvent after the construction of the Palace of Alcazarzaray, he was forced to reside with Alhaitham, whom he has a complicated relationship with. In spite of the illustrious façade he maintains to outsiders, Kaveh is often saddled with guilt for his father's death, ashamed of his poverty, and struggling with realizing his ideals.

	Artistic Ingenuity	Elemental Skill
Uses Mehrak's mapping ability for offensive purposes, initiating a radial scan that deals AoE Dendro DMG. It will also scan all Dendro Cores in its AoE and cause them to immediately burst. When this skill hits at least one enemy, it generates 2 Elemental Particles. DMG dealt by a Dendro Core that prematurely burst due to this skill is calculated in the same way as it would if the Dendro Core had burst normally, i.e., it respects the Elemental Mastery and % Reaction Bonus (from e.g., the 4-piece set bonus of the Flower of Paradise Lost Artifact set) of the character, enemy or environment that triggered the Bloom reaction that created the Dendro Core, which is not necessarily Kaveh himself. 	Painted Dome	Elemental Burst
Completely unleashes Mehrak's energy and creates a cubic scanned space, dealing AoE Dendro DMG to all opponents within it, causing all Dendro Cores in its AoE to immediately burst, and granting Kaveh the following enhanced combat abilities for a specific duration: Increases Kaveh's Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack AoE, and converts his attack DMG to Dendro DMG that cannot be overridden. All Dendro Cores created by all your own party members through Bloom reactions will deal additional DMG when they burst. Increases Kaveh's resistance to interruption These effects will be canceled once Kaveh leaves the field. During Painted Dome, after Kaveh's Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks hit opponents, his Elemental Mastery will increase by 25. This effect can be triggered once every 0.1s. Max 4 stacks. This effect will be canceled when Painted Dome's effects end.
	The Art of Budgeting	Utility Passive
When Kaveh crafts Landscape, Building, and Courtyard-type Furnishings, he has a 100% chance to refund a portion of the materials used. Kaveh refunds 25% of the materials used. On average over time, he refunds 25% of each material used. The 25% is first calculated on the total number of rewards and rounded down. Then the refunded materials are re-distributed among the different materials used according to their original ratios, with decimals randomly rounded without changing the total quantity of refunded materials.‍[verification needed] This means that if the quantity of any material used is not a multiple of 4, then there will be fluctuations in the amount of materials refunded. For example, a furnishing that requires 12 of one material and 6 of another material has two possible distributions of refunded materials: 3 of the first material and 1 of the second material, or 2 of each material.
