Anyway, the purpose of making this post is not only for me to celebrate, but all you awesome wikians that I have been with for almost two years already! Missed my first birthday post because I was on holiday, but now I’m here to have fun with the wiki.

Since my last birthday, I’ve:

• Gotten almost 8 new 5-star characters,

• Leveled all my characters to at least 80,

• Rolled a lot of good artifacts,

• Almost completed all of Genshin’s quests,

• Finished exploration in Inazuma,

• And managed to draw two genshin dragons- don’t worry more are in the coming. Ningguang dragon waiters, I have some news-she’ll be here by this week.

Recently i have heard people talking about someone names "Lan Yan"... WHO TF IS THAT!? THAT SOUNDS NOTHING LIKE A NATLAN NAME SO WHO IS SHE AND WHY HAVE I NOT HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT HER BEFORE THIS!?!? 😭

I saw it on the internet and it's true BRO PULLS THAT POSE LITERALLY THE WHOLE TIME DURING THAT QUEST HE IS NOT GETTING A HUG OR WORLD DOMINATION

Yes im talking about this again, cuz I'm interested in world-building. Now, there are 2 things that I THINK make sense for Natlan to be technologically advanced.

1. It is a nation of War

2. It's relation to Energy (because fire or fire-related thing)

Now, I want to compare this to other fiction, this is just a comparison, not off topic.

Let's look at the Fire Nation from Avatar The Last Airbender.

Lot of people have expressed their opinions on why Fire Nation is the most advanced but I'm going to bring my opinions here.

1. War

The needs for war would pressure nations to make advanced technology and I think this happen in real life. In the case of Fire Nation, they want to invade and achieve world domination, ofc they need some kind of technological and industrial power to achieve that. Machinery and advanced weaponries will be required to increase military strength.

2. Fire

In technology, metal is an important component, but to manufacture it it requires methods like smelting. How do they achieve this? Obviously they use firebending.

Then they make vehicles and machines, but how do they power them?

Since in ATLA Fire Nation uses steam engines, they need fuels such as coals, and to generate energy you need to burn them, Fire Nation just have the thing.

So Fire is important because it's a direct versatile energy source, it can be used for heat and propulsion like in powering engines, machineries, and for manufactures.

The combination of their knowledge of energy uses, the vast availability of energy and the pressure to advance for war, make Fire Nation the most advanced nation in ATLA (back then metal-bending haven't exist yet).

Now let's look at Natlan

Are they in War?

Yes

Do they have a reliable energy source?

Yes, Phlogiston, and this is supposed to be more advanced and even more versatile because this is a fantasy based energy unlike Fire Nation where their uses of energy is based on real life (using fire to power steam engine).

But the problem is that it does not fit to Natlan tribal aesthetic, and the inconsistencies because their technologies are exclusive to vision holders, they don't use this technology in other things, so it just looks weird because of the disparities.

WOOOOOO!! AFTER JOINING GENSHIN ON THE 13TH FEBRUARY IN 2022, I REACHED AR 60 TODAY YAYYY

Collected the rewards in Mondstadt because we started our journey there!

If anyone's wondering what I got with the 3 blue fates:

2x Harbinger of Dawn and 1x Magic Guide lol

So with 5.2 buffing some reactions, including Shatter, i think Kaveh shatterbloom might be pretty decent. This team works specifically around Kaveh because he can tank Bloom explosions, he's the only claymore user that scales on EM, and his Dendro app is pretty consistent (provided he stays on-field). The main sources of damage would be from Shatter and Bloom, like the typical fridge team but slightly different.

Now obviously, Kaveh's best teammate for Bloom is Nilou, but her Hydro app is very slow by herself so you'd need another Hydro, which restricts the last slot to Cryo.

• Some 5* alternatives could be Furina and Yelan, who bring high personal dmg at the cost of weaker Blooms. Their Hydro app is consistent enough to free up the last slot for a flex option.

Diona and Rosaria are both good Cryo options, with Diona bringing heals and shields (+ EM buff at C6) whereas Rosaria has faster and more consistent application (+ Physical res shred at C6).

• I considered Shenhe for Physical res shred as well, but her Cryo app isn't consistent enough to be worth it.

• Charlotte is good with Furina for teamwide healing on her burst

The non-Nilou flex slot is the hardest for me to figure out — I'm leaning towards double Dendro for the elemental resonance and battery since Kaveh's burst has a high cost. On the other hand, Electro can shred Physical res even further with Superconduct and deal additional dmg with Electro-Charged + Quicken reactions.

• Electro opens up the dilemma of Hyperbloom, which kind of defeats the purpose of this team being "shatterbloom" since your main source of dmg just ends up being Hyperbloom...

• However, there are some perfectly viable Electro characters who don't target Bloom cores, like Beidou and Fischl
