"Sidekicks For Hire" is the first segment of the sixty-ninth episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on March 12, 2018 alongside "The Illumin-Aliens", and is the first segment of the fifteenth episode in the third season.
Synopsis[]
When Commander S'Leet's sidekicks are recruited by Nemesystems, Mission Force One helps rescue them.
Plot[]
Blizzbert and Flurrbo take an ice cream shuttle into Commander S'Leet's ship. They think S'Leet is going to thank them for that, however, S'Leet apprehends them for stealing the ice cream shuttle. Blizzbert and Flurrbo think that this is what S'Leet wanted them to steal, but S'Leet is not happy and tells them to go find starships worthy of the Frost fleet, or find another job. Blizzbert and Flurrbo decide to find another job with someone who appreciates them.
On the Zenith, Zeno informs Mission Force One about a call from Commander S'Leet. S'Leet wishes to make a truce with the team; he needs their help, and asks the team to come aboard his starship. Once the team is there, S'Leet plays a message from Blizzbert and Flurrbo about them quitting being S'Leet's sidekicks. Now, they have a new boss who appreciates them: Aggro. They now work for Nemesystems. S'Leet needs Mission Force One's help to get Blizzbert and Flurrbo back, and also mentions that they should apologize for leaving him. Miles says that the deal is to get S'Leet's icelincs back from Commander Nemex's headquarters on Planet Dethalia. S'Leet is also told to sneak the team onto the planet to find out what Nemesystems is up to these days. S'Leet accepts Miles' ideas. The team then performs their signature catchphrase and activates their recruit suits' mission mode.
While S'Leet's ship sets course for Dethalia, Aggro tells Nemex that he found the new recruits. Nemex tells Blizzbert and Flurrbo that they got here just in time to work on very secret he's been planning: his new mega-factory. It is big enough to make anything Nemex wants, as quickly as he wants. Those machines will soon be helping Nemesystems from taking over Tomorrowland. However, Blizzbert and Flurrbo bicker about who should turn on the factory, and as a result, many parts of different technology get printed, making a machine that is part mountain crusher, part burrower, and part control bot. When it gets activated, it falls apart. Aggro tells Blizzbert and Flurrbo to stay and not touch anything.
When S'Leet's ship encounters the Nemesystems thundership, S'Leet is able to sneak into Dethalia by telling the nemetron that he wishes to see Commander Nemex, as he is in interested in joining forces against the TTA and conquering them once and for all. S'Leet and Mission Force One then take the Snowflake to land onto the planet. Miles tells S'Leet to keep Nemex busy while the team finds the icelings.
The team then goes into the headquarters where they see Blizzbert and Flurrbo riding striker bots. As Miles plans for the team to follow them, S'Leet meets Nemex in the main building. He claims that he's a big fan of what Nemex does. Nemex says that not many people appreciate what it takes to run a galactic empire.
The team hears Blizzbert and Flurrbo wanting to get the mega factory ready on time because Nemex needs to start building his Tomorrowland invasion force. Before taking out the factory, Miles gets back the icelings. Unfortunately, Aggro overhears Blizzbert and Flurrbo saying that it's nice to see the team. Miles deactivates the two striker bots with his blast shield. Aggro informs Nemex about the situation, and before S'Leet leaves, he freezes Nemex to the floor. Nemex says that it was a trick and orders Aggro to start the mega factory immediately.
Mission Force One then takes down all of the striker bots and defense orbs the factory makes with their special skills. Miles and M.E.R.C. charge through all of the control bots, powering all of them down. With the factory about to build a mountain crusher, Miles decides to take down the factory, starting with the energy cores.
Meanwhile, the rest of Mission Force One is surrounded by all of the control bots, defense orbs, nemetrons, and striker bots. However, S'Leet freezes them all, as he never leaves his team out in the cold. S'Leet orders Blizzbert and Flurrbo to come back with him at once. S'Leet apologizes to them because they are more than just sidekicks to him; they are his friends. They then quit aligning with Nemesystems. At that time, the mega factory gets taken down completely. Mission Force One and S'Leet head back to S'Leet's ship and escape Dethalia.
Nemex just frees himself when he sees S'Leet leaving. Aggro tells him that it was the icelings, as he can't get good sidekicks. Back on the Zenith, Blizzbert and Flurrbo promise to never leave S'Leet again. S'Leet then thanks Mission Force One for helping him. Miles mentions that that's what friends are for, and the team says that that is mission accomplished.
