How Does Your Garden Grow?

Sadness falls from the sky

We didn't get as much as predicted (not complaining) Maybe 2.5 - 3 inches. The snow was light and not difficult to push. I cleared the stairs, walk, and driveway and then the plow guy showed up. I honestly didn't think there was enough to plow.

Sorrow as far as the eye can see

Where's Dedo?

Friends having a snack

Brrrr with temps feeling like - BRRRRR

There's Dedo!

Little footprints on the back step

Bunny prints

Too cold for me to go around taking pictures, but no too cold for my new friend. He's happy because a lot more frozen tears will be falling Monday night through Tuesday with lingering heartbreak on Wednesday. The latest forecast was for 8 to 14 inches of snow.

  1. It looks very cold over there, no wonder you don't like winter. Today is cold but sunny and dry here, and no snow. My balcony is looking very sad, when I leave the clinic I will have to plant everything again there! Valerie

    1. It is very cold. This morning the temperature was 0. Oh, poor Balconia. It must be missing you.

  2. I’m leaving this generic message so you don’t think I’m a flake. I didn’t feel good Friday, and when I woke, the entire area around the eye that got damaged last summer had swollen so badly, I couldn’t open it. After speaking with the vision specialist, the soonest I can get in is Monday morning. I am not to wear the eye patch I was given in case it might exacerbate the swelling, but I am to take the eyedrops I was given from before. Thanks for understanding why I haven’t been to visit you.

    1. Don't worry about not feeling up to leave comments. Good that you can get in to see the doctor tomorrow. Take care.

  4. I love the line, sadness falls from the sky. This week it sounds like depression is going to fall from the sky. Welcome to February. Love today's photos. And the bunny prints.

    1. Yeah, I'm still holding on to the hope that the storm will fizzle out.

    1. I said not much because it seems the last 10 years or so, snow is measured in feet here instead of inches.

    2. We've had snow measuring over a foot once, maybe twice in my lifetime here, and not in the past 20+ years. I feel sorry for the kids.

    1. I'll call for Summer, my Lady, as Spring is usually wet, cold, and not as much snow.

  9. Looks cold - brrrr! I smiled at the polar bear, when it's cold and snowing here I always text my mum and dad saying "the polar bears are coming" - it's a running joke in our family ...lol 😉. Stay warm and cosy! Hugs, Jo x

    1. We were below zero or barely out of the single digits this week. You can tell your mum and dad the polar bears are at my house.
