Zehava Ben, a 53-year-old singer, divorced plus a son, lives in Rishon Lezion Zehava, one of the pioneers of Mediterranean music in Israel, has over 40 albums and sales of her albums are estimated at hundreds of thousands of copies. Zehava was born and raised in the D neighborhood of Be'er Sheva. Her father was a musician in Morocco in the past and influenced her greatly. Already as a child she started singing, when she was 18 she was discovered when she performed in a small pub in the south and after a year when she was only 19 she released her debut album "Drop of Luck" which was a huge success. Throughout her career, Zehava has had great success, she became the first Israeli singer to sing in Arabic, became the most played singer of the 90s and won more than eight platinum albums. At the same time, Zehava also experienced ups and downs in her career, but nothing broke her and she continued to perform and sing throughout. One of Zehava's highlights was when she performed at the last beacon lighting ceremony at the Independence Day celebrations for the State of Israel. Zehava married a former footballer and after a short time they divorced, they have an only child - a son, whom Zehava has raised all her life and to whom she is very attached and connected. Zehava comes to the big brother to show who Zehava is, and not just as everyone knows her as a huge singer - Zehava Ben.[1] |
