Aleksi Valavuori began his TV career at the age of 22 when he was involved in Yle's Videotreffit program. Since then, the businessman has been seen in many different formats, often also in the role of presenter. In 2008, he was voted Best TV Performer in a public vote at the Venla Gala. Valavuori had an athletic youth, and his greatest achievements are the Finnish Championship gold in C and A juniors and the bronze in Finnish karate.
