"Under the Stars" is an instrumental score composed by Hans Zimmer with African vocals from Lebo M and his South African choir. It is heard on The Lion King soundtrack and its Special Edition soundtrack.

The Lion King[]

This score can be heard during the jungle sequences that directly follow "Can You Feel the Love Tonight". The score picks up during Simba's argument with Nala and then cuts to his meeting with Rafiki. The music picks up again when Mufasa's spirit visits Simba, and concludes with the triumphant "Busa Simba" that plays as Simba returns to the Pride Lands. A variation of "Busa Simba" is also heard during the end credits of the film.

Trivia[]

"Under the Stars" was cut and edited for the official soundtrack. However, the complete score can still be heard in one part, "Remember Who You Are".^[1]
