Muhanga and Muhangus

Muhanga and Muhangus are aardvarks that appear in The Lion Guard. They are residents of the Pride Lands.

Role in the Series[]

"Can't Wait to be Queen"[]

Muhanga and Muhangus appear briefly during "Duties of the King", in which King Simba presides over their marriage ceremony.

When Muhanga and Muhangus return to their den, they are infuriated to discover the presence of Reirei's family of jackals, and are quickly reassured by Beshte, the strongest member of the Guard, who tells them that the jackals most likely meant no harm.

Eventually, Kion arrives to sort out the situation, and is greeted by Reirei, and her mate Goigoi. Upon noticing fruit in Goigoi's possession, Muhangus and Muhanga angrily confront him, which prompts the Guard to request Reirei to move her family elsewhere, Reirei agrees to do so, and tells her children to leave the aardvarks.

Muhanga and Muhangus make a further appearance in "Jackal Style".

"Too Many Termites"[]

Muhanga and Muhangus call upon Kion and the Guard when they believe hyenas have invaded their dens.
