Daabi

Daabi is an aardvark character who was set to appear in The Lion King, when it was initially titled King of the Jungle.

Personality[]

Daabi is a rather dopey animal, and even speaks in a dopey manner. She has a crush on Simba despite the difference in species and on the food chain, but is loyal and loving friend. It is she who warns Nala that Banagi and Baasho are onto her plan to seduce Scar and eventually be rid of him.

Appearance[]

Daabi is described as having a wet square nose, kangaroo-like eyes and a long whip-like tongue.

Daabi is a childhood friend of Simba and Nala, but she is more Simba's friend than Nala's. Later she becomes one of the main reasons Scar is overthrown by Simba and Nala.
