Teaching aids LCD CCE: Language
Pupils refer to textbook page 14. Pupils listen to audio CD 1 track 17. Pupils say the correct picture orally.
Pre Lesson
1. Teacher prepares numbers 1-12 in strips. Pupils draw lots one strip.
2. Pupils refer to Activity 2 page 14 in textbook and write the cards based on their number in given cards. Pupil
cannot reveal it to their friends.
3. Explain to pupils about the ‘Walking Card’ game. Pupils walk around the class with their exercise books.
Pupils ask the questions and guess the nationalities.

Pupils do a recap on main format of an email.
Pre Lesson
1. Pupils refer to textbook page 11 to read the email again.
2. Pupils are shown another picture and an email text with blanks. Pupils are called out to the front to fill in the
blanks as other friends guide them orally.
Lesson Development
3. Pupils write an email about themselves in their exercise books to reply the email from the textbook (M).
Pupils are guided to write sentences (L).
Pupils exchange books with their friends from other groups to read their email write-up.

2. Pupils are explained about the listening task. Pupils must listen to the story and answer the questions in the
task sheet.

3. CD 1 Track 16 is played. Pupils listen and answer the questions.
4. Audio is replayed for pupils to check.
5. Pupils refer to textbook page 12 and 13. Pupils read the story and check their answers.
Pupils play the Bingo game with all the names of the countries that they have learnt.
