Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 20 servings

  • 1 (6 ounce) package cherry-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®)

  • 1 ½ cups boiling water

  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans whole berry cranberry sauce

  • 2 oranges, peeled and chopped

  • 1 cup diced apple

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Dissolve cherry gelatin mix in boiling water in a bowl; stir cranberry sauce and oranges into gelatin. Refrigerate until mixture is thickened to the consistency of egg whites, about 45 minutes. Mix apple and walnuts into gelatin, transfer to a serving dish or mold, and chill until firm, about 2 more hours.
