This is a list of Nintendo-related events that took place in the 1960s.

List

• 1960: Sanyo Enterprise Co. publishes the Nintendo-printed Ukiyo-E playing cards.
• 1961: Nintendo establishes a new branch in Chiyoda, Tokyo.
• 1962: Nintendo is introduced into the Osaka Stock Exchange.
• 1962: Kokuryn Shoji Co. publishes the Nintendo-manufactured Ukiyo-E playing cards.
• 1963: Nintendo changes it's name from "Nintendo Playing Card Co." to simply "Nintendo Co., Ltd."
• 1963: Nintendo releases the Disney no Yaku Ban.
• 1964: Nintendo opens its first research and development branch manufacturing toy products. The first toy produced there is the Rabbit Coaster.
• 1964: Nintendo begins printing the Nintendo Playing Guide for their card decks.
• 1965: Nintendo releases the following toy products: the Home Race, the Picture Cutter, the New Picture Cutter, the Table Soccer, the My Car Race, and the Drive Game.
• 1965: Nintendo begins distributing the Mamaberika, a B-type baby stroller.
• 1965: Nintendo hires Gunpei Yokoi; his job is to maintain the assembly-line machines used to print Nintendo's Hanafuda cards.
• 1966: Nintendo releases the Ultra Hand. The Ultra hand would go on to sell over a million units.
• 1966: Then-Nintendo president Hiroshi Yamauchi moves Gunpei Yokoi, the creator of the Ultra Hand, from maintenance duty to product development as a result of the Ultra Hand's success.
• 1966: Nintendo releases Home Bowling.
• 1966: Nintendo releases Osomatsu-kun Game.
• 1967: Nintendo releases Ultra Machine.
• 1968: Nintendo releases the following toy products: the People House, the Hip Flip, the Dynamic Soccer, the Kamen No Ninja Akakage Game, and the Ultraman Game.
• 1968: Nintendo releases the Nintendo Block Gondola, which is part of their N&B Block toy line.
• 1969: Nintendo opens a new manufacturing plant in Uji City in Kyoto, Japan which would be a primary location for developing it's toy products.
• 1969: Nintendo releases the Challenge Dice.
• 1969: Nintendo releases the Love Tester.
• 1969: Satoru Okada joins Nintendo.
